Assistant Athletic Trainer

Job Description

• HIRING ASSISTANT ATHLETIC TRAINER (This is a new position)

• Located in Pepper Pike, Ohio (just outside of Cleveland, Ohio)

• Member of NCAA DIV II; G-MAC conference; we have 12 intercollegiate athletic programs

• Would help with coverage of Men’s and Women’s Track and Cross Country; Flag Football and any other assigned duties

• Salary is $50,000 paid over 12 months; Most of June/July off

• Duties include: Sport coverage, occasional off-campus practices/games — minimal travel; rehabilitation, evaluation, taping, wound care, pre-participation physicals, concussion testing; game set-up/take-down; training room maintenance; physician referrals. Other administrative duties assigned including adherence to all NCAA Div. II rules, regulations and bylaws.

• Bachelor’s Degree Required. Master’s Preferred. NATABOC certification or eligible by start date; Ohio Licensed or eligible by start date; Current Certification for Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent.

• Prefer at least 1-year related experience in higher education

• Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record and ability to drive vans
