At Athletic Trainer Finder, our mission is simple: to provide a centralized platform where athletic trainers in Vermont can find per diem coverage opportunities, and where event operators can efficiently request qualified medical professionals for their events.

We recognize that finding and hiring athletic trainers can be a costly and time-consuming process, and that many schools and organizations struggle to secure the medical coverage they need. Many people resort to word of mouth to try to find coverage or go through professional organizations. The problem with that is you are missing out on many of the available athletic trainers who may not be connected or may not be a member of the NATA. We aim to provide a place for all licensed athletic trainers to access per diem, regardless of affiliation. And unlike large, profit-driven competitors, we are not here to turn a massive profit—we are here to help. Our goal is to make hiring athletic trainers more affordable and accessible, ensuring that every school and event has proper emergency preparedness and medical coverage.

Kyle Peckham, MS, MBA, ATC

Kyle Peckham has been a longtime advocate for athlete safety in Vermont, dedicated to improving access to affordable athletic training coverage and education. He has coordinated medical services for VPA tournaments, developed emergency action plans, and helped schools secure qualified athletic trainers. As the founder of Athletic Trainer Finder, Kyle’s mission is to streamline the prospecting process for schools and event organizers, ensuring every athlete has proper medical support. His commitment to community impact and athlete well-being continues to make Vermont sports safer and more prepared for emergencies.
