Athletic Trainer Finder was built to solve a simple problem: athletic trainers deserve clear, centralized access to job opportunities across the profession.

For years, jobs were scattered across school district websites, hospital portals, staffing agencies, and association boards. Many roles lacked salary transparency. Others were difficult to find unless you knew exactly where to look. The result? Athletic trainers wasted time searching, and employers struggled to reach the right candidates.

We set out to change that.

Since launching Athletic Trainer Finder, the job landscape has evolved. Accessibility has improved across the profession — and that’s a good thing. Our mission has always been bigger than competition. It’s about raising the standard for how jobs are shared, evaluated, and discussed.

Athletic Trainer Finder is a centralized job board and weekly digest designed to give athletic trainers:

Open access to job opportunities
Salary transparency whenever available
Clear breakdowns of roles and expectations
Real-world commentary on what jobs actually look like
A community-first approach to professional growth

We do not charge athletic trainers to view jobs. Ever.

Employers can choose to invest in additional visibility through featured or verified placements, but visibility does not equal endorsement. Every role is evaluated using the same consistent criteria.

Our goal is simple: make the job market easier to navigate, more transparent, and more aligned with the long-term growth of the profession.

Athletic training is evolving. Access to opportunity should evolve with it.

About the Founder

Kyle Peckham, MS, MBA, ATC

Kyle Peckham is an athletic trainer and the AT Coverage Coordinator for the Vermont Principals’ Association. In this role, he works directly with athletic directors and school leaders across the region, helping them navigate the challenges of hiring and retaining qualified athletic trainers.

Over time, Kyle started hearing the same questions from ADs everywhere:

“Where should we post our job?”

“How do we reach athletic trainers?”

“Why aren’t we getting applicants?”

At the same time, athletic trainers told him how difficult it was to find clear, complete job information in one place—and how frustrated they were paying the dues for the membership gated job boards.

Athletic Trainer Finder was Kyle’s answer.

The platform is built around a simple mission:

Build something useful. Serve Athletic Trainers. Grow the profession.

By pulling jobs into one place, requiring salary transparency for promoted roles, and making listings accessible through a free weekly newsletter, AT Finder gives athletic trainers a full view of the job market—and gives employers a better way to reach the right candidates.
