Athletic Trainer Finder – Terms of Service

Welcome to Athletic Trainer Finder (“Athletic Trainer Finder,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, newsletter, job board, and per diem services platform (collectively, the “Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. Scope of These Terms

Athletic Trainer Finder offers multiple services. Not all sections of these Terms apply to all users.

• Sections labeled “Job Board & Newsletter” apply to all users.

• Sections labeled “Per Diem Services (Vermont Only)” apply only to users participating in per diem athletic training coverage within the State of Vermont.

Nothing in the Per Diem Services section applies to users who only access job listings, content, or newsletters.

2. Independent Platform

Athletic Trainer Finder is an independently operated platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any professional association, certifying body, or governing organization.

3. Job Board & Newsletter Terms

3.1 Platform Purpose

The Job Board and Newsletter provide job discovery, commentary, and informational content related to athletic training employment opportunities.

Athletic Trainer Finder is not an employer, recruiter, or hiring agent unless explicitly stated.

3.2 Job Listings & Accuracy

Job listings are curated from:

• Publicly available employer postings, and/or

• Direct submissions from employers.

We do not republish member-only, gated, or proprietary job board content.

While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee the completeness or timeliness of listings. Employers are solely responsible for the accuracy of their postings.

Any role labeled “Verified” or “Featured” reflects additional review or paid placement and does not constitute endorsement or a guarantee of employment terms.

3.3 No Employment Guarantee

Athletic Trainer Finder does not guarantee interviews, job offers, or employment outcomes. All hiring decisions are made solely by employers.

4. Per Diem Services (Vermont Only)

4.1 Platform Overview

Athletic Trainer Finder provides a digital marketplace connecting event organizers with independent athletic trainers for per diem coverage within Vermont. Athletic Trainer Finder does not provide medical or athletic training services.

4.2 Independent Contractor Relationship

For Athletic Trainers

You acknowledge and agree that:

• You act solely as an independent contractor, not an employee or agent of Athletic Trainer Finder.

• You are responsible for maintaining all required licenses, certifications, registrations, and professional liability insurance under Vermont law.

• You are responsible for all taxes, insurance, and regulatory compliance.

• You assume full professional responsibility for services provided and agree to indemnify and hold harmless Athletic Trainer Finder from any claims arising from your services.

For Event Organizers

You acknowledge and agree that:

• Athletic Trainer Finder does not employ, supervise, or control athletic trainers.

• You are responsible for vetting credentials and suitability of any athletic trainer engaged.

• You assume full liability for your event and any incidents arising from services provided.

• You represent that you maintain appropriate liability insurance for events requiring medical coverage.

5. Payments & Fees

• Payments may be processed through Stripe or other third-party processors.

• Athletic trainers independently set or accept rates.

• Athletic Trainer Finder may charge platform or service fees, disclosed at the time of purchase.

• Payments may be subject to IRS Form 1099-K reporting.

• Disputes regarding services rendered must be resolved directly between athletic trainers and event organizers.

Athletic Trainer Finder is not responsible for payment delays, failures, or chargebacks caused by third-party processors.

6. User Conduct

All users agree not to:

• Misrepresent identity or affiliation

• Submit false or misleading information

• Attempt to scrape, copy, or misuse Platform content

• Violate applicable laws or professional standards

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion.

7. Intellectual Property

All original Platform content, branding, layout, and commentary are owned by Athletic Trainer Finder unless otherwise noted.

Job titles, employer names, and factual job information are used for identification purposes only and remain the property of their respective owners.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Athletic Trainer Finder shall not be liable for:

• Injuries, losses, or damages arising from per diem services

• Medical outcomes or decisions

• Employment decisions or disputes

• User misrepresentations

• Payment processing failures by third parties

Use of the Platform is at your own risk.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Athletic Trainer Finder from any claims, damages, losses, or legal expenses arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.

10. Privacy

User data is collected and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you consent to those practices.

11. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Vermont, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or the Platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration in the State of Vermont, except where prohibited by law.
