Payments & Fees

7. How do payments work on Athletic Trainer Finder?

If you choose to issue payment through our platform, all payments are processed through Stripe, a third-party payment processor. Athletic Trainers choose to accept a rate, and event organizers pay directly through the platform.

8. Does Athletic Trainer Finder charge a fee?

Yes, Athletic Trainer Finder charges a fee to post a job on the platform to offset costs of maintaining the site. If your job goes unfilled, you will be issued a coupon code for a free post on your next posting. Athletic Trainer Finder may charge a service fee on each payment transaction processed through the platform. Fees are disclosed before finalizing bookings. 

9. Does Athletic Trainer Finder issue 1099s to athletic trainers?

No, Athletic Trainer Finder does not issue 1099 forms. If athletic trainers receive over $600 in payments, Stripe may issue a 1099-K per IRS guidelines.
